Syntax
chkdsk [drive:][[path] filename] [/f] [/v] [/r] [/x] [/i] [/c] [/l[:size]]

| [drive:] | Specifies the drive to be checked. |
| [path] filename | Specifies files to be checked for fragmentation. |

| [/r] | Finds bad sectors and attempts to recover lost data. |
| [/x] NTFS only. Forces the volume dismount on NTFS volumes. | |
