Some CFML tags (like <cfdump> and <cfsavecontent>) are actually written in CFML, and the CFM files are stored in this directory.

NOTE

The CFM files in this directory are not encoded, but this is likely to change in future versions of ColdFusion.

TIP

It is possible to add your own tags to CFML; just drop them in this directory.
