| Each router comes packaged in a shipping crate (M5 and M10 routers, because of their smaller size and weight, come packaged in a cardboard box). Before unpacking the router, move the shipping crate as close to the installation site as possible. To unpack the router from the shipping crate (see Figure 4.2): -
Twist the locking tabs holding the front, top, and sides of the shipping crate onto the pallet and remove them from the pallet. -
Remove the packing materials, the accessory box, and the quick start installation poster from on top of the router. -
Verify the parts received against the packing list. Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts securing the chassis to the pallet. Store the brackets and bolts in the accessory box. -
Save the shipping crate, packing materials, and pallet in case the router must be moved or shipped later. Figure 4.2. Unpacking a Router from the Shipping Crate To unpack an M5 or M10 router from the shipping box (see Figure 4.3): -
Position the shipping box with the arrows facing up. -
Open the top flaps of the box. -
Lift out the packing material, the accessory kit, and the quick start installation poster. -
Lift the router out of the box. -
Verify the parts received against the packing list. -
