| Requests for Information (RFI) is a document that some companies use to learn more about a product or solution. The information in the RFI helps them select a product that best fits their needs. This appendix contains a list of sample questions you can use if you are preparing an RFI for Intrusion Prevention products. Support Inquires about the support offerings available for the solution. Training Discusses any training that might be available for the solution. Licensing Examines how the solution is sold. Network Intrusion Prevention Goes into depth about the proposed Network Intrusion Prevention product. It covers the way it works, its management, operational considerations, and compatibility with other products. Host Intrusion Prevention Goes into depth about the proposed Host Intrusion Prevention product. It covers the way it works, its management, operational considerations, and compatibility with other products.
