Follow these steps:

  1. Record the solo trumpet part (Figures P6.32 and P6.33). Break it down into four bar chunks if need be. Note the transposition (12) in the Instrument Parameter box. The notes in Figure P6.32 are written one octave lower than they sound.

  2. Save Song compare with project/6.8.

Up to now we have left the harmony to the brass. On reflection, I think the piece may now benefit from some rhythm guitar, something sparse and choppy.
