NOTE

Track 7: Bass Guitar

  1. Ensure the Song Position Line is at 27.1.1 and from the project8 folder import the audio file bass1.aif [Audio > Import Audio File...]. This is a prerecorded audio file containing a four bar riff derived from the ostinatos playing above it but also follows the harmonic progression of the string line.

  2. Copy and paste the resulting Audio Region to bars 31, 35 and 39, making sure the object always begins dead on the first beat of the bar.

  3. Set the Song Position Line to 43.1.1 and from the project8 folder import the audio file bass2.aif to complete the bass line.

  4. Save Song compare with project8/8.9.

All that's needed are the drums.
