Linux for Programmers and Users

The C shell was designed to more closely adhere to the C language syntax and control structures. It was the first shell to support advanced job control, and became a favorite of early UNIX developers. Many C shell users have changed to Bash because it provides most traditional C shell features as well as its own useful features.
