Switching to the Mac[c] The Missing Manual

To share a USB inkjet printer with other Macs on the network, open the Sharing panel of System Preferences on the Mac with the printer. Turn on Printer Sharing.

To use the shared printer from across the network, open the document you want to print, choose File Print, and choose the name of the shared printer from the first pop-up menu.
