Nursing can be a thankless job. That’s why one hospital makes it easy for patients to express their gratitude.

Along with standard hospital-issue supplies, a hospital we recently visited provides thank-you notes and a pen to each patient. With the tools readily at hand, many patients spend part of their stay expressing gratitude to those who served them.

The notes are placed on a bulletin board for all hospital staff to see.
