Although you may create a document in Notebook Layout view, you can switch to other views to work with it. Simply choose the view you want to work in from the View menu or click a view button at the bottom-left of the document window. The document switches to that view.

Figures 33 and 34 show the notebook in Figure 1 in Normal and Page Layout views.

Tip

Although check boxes can appear beside note items in Page Layout view, they do not work like check boxes. Instead, they're just graphic objects.
