Inserting & Deleting Text You can insert or delete characters at the insertion point at any time. When you insert characters, any text to the right of the insertion point shifts to the right to make room for new characters (Figures 33 and 34). Figure 33. Position the insertion point. Figure 34. When you insert or delete text, word wrap adjusts if necessary to comfortably fit characters on each line (Figures 34 and 36).
