Mac OS X Bible, Panther Edition

When you use a Classic application, fonts installed in your Mac OS 9 System Folder (or managed by a Classic font management utility) are used rather than the fonts installed for Mac OS X.

Classic cannot see or use fonts in Mac OS X locations, but Mac OS X can see and use the Classic fonts.
