Recipe 11.8. Getting Notified of New Security Vulnerabilities

Problem

You want to be notified when new security vulnerabilities in Microsoft products are found.

Solution

Microsoft provides a notification service that anyone can subscribe to. Simply visit http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/notify.mspx.

You'll need to provide an email address to send the notifications to. You may want to use a group mailing list so that multiple people get the notifications.
