/etc/bootptab

The /etc/bootptab file controls the Bootstrapping Protocol daemon bootpd(8). Diskless clients rely upon a bootpd server to provide their operating system, file system, and so forth. If you're interested in diskless operations with this bootstrapping protocol, check out bootpd(8).
