| 1. | The pick is the first image in the stack, the one that you have selected as the best image in the stack. The current selection is the single image or group of images that you have selected. The primary selection is the single image within a current selection that you have chosen to work on. If a single image is selected, it is also the primary selection. |
| 2. | When the Primary Only button is on, only the primary selection will receive a keyword or rating. When it is off, all of the images in the selection will receive the keyword or rating. |
| 3. | The Keywords HUD lets you define keywords to apply to your images. The Keywords HUD can also be used to apply keywords to the current selection. |
| 4. | You can apply keywords by dragging them from the Keywords HUD; by entering keywords manually into the Keyword summary area of the Metadata Inspector; by using the keyword buttons in the control bar; and by lifting and stamping keywords from one image to another. |
