You can format a Word document so that you can use it to type labels. For example, you can create address, name tag, and file folder labels.
This section demonstrates how to create a blank page of address labels onto which you can type address label information.

Click Tools.

Click Letters and Mailings.

Click Envelopes and Labels.
The Envelopes and Labels dialog box appears.

Click the Labels tab.
This area shows the label currently selected. -
Click Options.
The Label Options dialog box appears.

In this area, select the type of printer and printer tray to print labels.

Click here to select the maker of your labels.

Click the product number of your labels.
The label information appears here. -
Click OK to save your selections.

Click New Document.
Word displays a blank document, set up to hold label information.

Type a label.

Press
to move from label to label. -
Repeat steps 11 to 12 for each label you want to print.

Click the Print icon (
). Word prints the labels.
Can I print a single label?

Use these boxes to type the row and column of the label you want to use on the label sheet.
