Sean Campbell began his career as a college instructor in the early 1990s at Purdue University. He has continued to work with a wide range of Microsoft technology ever since leaving Purdue. Sean then began to pursue consulting and training engagements with Chicago companies. In 1998, Sean joined ARIS corporation and taught Visual Basic and SQL Server courses as well as working on consulting engagements centered on these technologies.

Sean has been one of the principal sources of ASP .NET, Windows Forms, .NET CF, and SQL Server expertise at 3 Leaf Solutions, as well as being a leading expert on code development in C#, VB .NET, and T-SQL. Sean has also been author of many different seminars for Microsoft on technologies such as SQL Server, ASP.NET, .NET Remoting, .NET Security, MMIT, and the .NET CF. In addition, Sean has been responsible for signature content such as the recent 101 VB.NET samples made available to Visual Basic developers on MSDN. He holds several Microsoft certifications (MCDBA, MCSD), and he has led many consulting projects at 3 Leaf Solutions, including SQL Server installations and configurations, as well as upgrading a large GIS application from DAO and Access to ADO and SQL Server, as well as numerous .NET projects.

Currently Sean specializes in investigating new technologies for 3 Leaf in a variety of areas related to his expertise. Sean gets most of his kicks out of working with new Microsoft product releases while they are early in their development prior to release to the general public.

When not working Sean loves spending time with his family, taking in the Pacific Northwest, reading (History primarily), and taking in any baseball game he can.
