Overview

Now that you know how to build reports in Crystal Reports, you most likely have plenty of questions on how to finesse the design environment for your own needs. Each time you build a new report, you start with a clean slate in the Crystal design client. There are global settings that you can configure that will be remembered from report to report, which will make your report building go even smoother. There are also settings that you can configure at the report level to apply to the elements within a single report. These can also override the global settings you make on a report-by-report basis. In this chapter, we’ll take the approach of a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) forum to help you figure out what design elements you can fine-tune and where to find the settings.
