Implementing Enterprise Portfolio Management with Microsoft Project Server 2002
A clean Project Server uninstall is also a prerequisite for success at a second-chance installation. Once again, the steps you’re most likely to miss are the manual ones. To uninstall Project Server from your server, follow these steps:

Click the Start button and select Settings
Control Panel. -
Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.

Select Microsoft Project Server 2002 and click the Remove button.

Once the uninstall process is complete launch SQL Enterprise Manager.

Expand the Databases folder on the Server tree.

Right-click the ProjectServer database and select Delete.

Expand the Security folder and select Logins.

Right-click the MSProjectServerUser user and select Delete.

Right-click the MSProjectUser user and select Delete.
| Note | Removing the residual Project Server database and logins prevents the four zeros (0000) from being appended to the new database and login names after you reinstall Project Server. |
