BizTalk Adapter for SAP Components

BizTalk Adapter for SAP is made up of the following components:

• Adapter for SAP Manager (Adapter Manager). The Adapter Manager is the program the system administrator uses to configure and control another part of the Adapter for SAP.
• IDoc Handler is the component that receives an IDoc from an SAP R/3 system and converts it to a data stream.
• Application Integration Component (AIC) is the component that sends an IDoc to an SAP R/3 system.
• Microsoft Message Queuing is used to queue IDocs until BizTalk Server can process them.
