Description: Fixed Length

Indicates whether a column is fixed-length or variable-length.

Value Meaning
VARIANT_TRUE The column is fixed-length, and ulColumnSize in the DBCOLUMNDESC structure contains the fixed-length value.
VARIANT_FALSE or unspecified The column is variable-length and ulColumnSize represents the maximum size of the column.

Note   This property does not apply to and should be ignored for types other than DBTYPE_STR, DBYTPE_WSTR, and DBTYPE_BYTES. For information about the DBCOLUMNDESC structure, see ITableDefinition::CreateTable.
