The performance charts provided in this appendix were produced with the Web Application Stress (WAS) tool in runs against the cluster topologies described in Chapter 10, "Working with Performance Counters." Details about the WAS configuration and server configurations that were used are described in Chapter 8, "Creating Clusters and Deploying Applications."
The performance results shown in the following charts are intended to illustrate Microsoft Application Center 2000 (Application Center) member and cluster-wide performance under specific test conditions. They should be viewed in that light, and performance expectations should not be inferred from these tests.
The following convention is used for labeling performance counter plots:
- A — Processor Utilization
- B — Web GET requests per second
NOTE
An additional convention is the use of a light line for Web GET requests per second plot lines. - C — ASP requests per second
