Home Networking Basis: Transmission Environments and Wired/Wireless Protocols

In this chapter, we will study the transmission environment and construct channel models for indoor radio frequency applications. First, we will examine available radio frequency spectra suitable for indoor home networking devices. We will then look at transmission characteristics at these frequency bands.
