How will you first begin working with shared documents? Here are a few possible scenarios:

• You are at a team meeting when the leader selects you to write the first draft of the document you're all working on. This means you'll create the document in Word and then turn it into a shared document so others can review and comment on the draft. (The next section of the chapter will show you how to do that.)

• You are a member of a team and receive an e-mail message telling you that a copy of the first draft of the team document has been posted in the Document Workspace. How will you get to it? Read on.

• You are a member of the team and you receive an e-mail message with a shared file as an attachment. You can open the file as normal, make your changes, and then click Reply to send the revised file back to the teammate who sent it to you. In addition to sending the document back, the action also saves a copy of the document on the team site and ensures that each person works on the most recent version of the file.
