4.9. Tool Settings
All of the graphical tools that you can invoke through the Control Center, including the Control Center itself, have a menu for setting up the general tool characteristics. If you select Tools > Tools Settings from any of these tools, the window shown in Figure 4.46 is displayed. Note that each tool invokes the same Tools Setting window. Figure 4.46. In Figure 4.46, the Command Editor tab is selected. You can see that under this tab the Command Editor can be set to automatically commit SQL statements (autocommit is enabled by default). When autocommit is disabled, you must issue the COMMIT statement explicitly to commit SQL statements. There are many other settings that you can change under the other tabs, and we encourage you to explore them yourself. |
