Chapter 1. A+ Objectives for the 2003 Exam Revisions
In this chapter
This chapter cross-references every objective listed on the A+ Certification Exam to a particular section of this book or the companion CD. I created this cross-reference chapter for one specific reason: to make it as easy as possible for you to use this book to prepare for the exams ”and pass them. The objectives that make up both the Core Hardware and Operating Systems exams are designed to accurately represent the knowledge base you should possess as an entry-level computer technician. If you're like most candidates for A+ Certification, you probably have a lot of knowledge of certain objectives, but little or no knowledge or experience with others. If this describes your situation, this chapter was made for you. Find the objectives you need to study and go straight to the location in the book or companion CD that has the information you need. In some cases, you might find two or more references. Be sure to go to each one to get all the information I've made available to you on that objective. You might prefer to read the book and CD content straight through and come back to this chapter later to review the areas that need more attention. Either way, I think you'll find this cross-reference chapter a worthwhile tool.
