I created a Web page in Word and put it on my Web site, and it looks really different in my friend's browser. What is going on?

Unfortunately, not all browsers interpret the underlying HTML (or MHTML) code in Web pages the same way. You can expect some differences in how Web pages look in different browsers. Ideally, you should open your Web pages in several browsers to see how they look and only upload them to a Web site when you are satisfied.

I'm creating my Web page in Word and I want to add a background color to the page. What command do I use?

Choose Format, Background, and click the desired color in the submenu that appears.
