The following is a list of assigned port numbers for Well-Known Ports TCP and UDP. A complete listing of assigned port numbers can be found at http://iana.org/assignments/port-numbers.
Port Numbers (Updated 2/9/2003)
Port numbers are divided into three ranges:

Well-Known Ports are those numbered from 0 through 1023.

Registered Ports are those numbered from 1024 through 49,151.

Dynamic or Private Ports are those numbered from 49,152 through 65,535.
