The Reading pane increases the area for reading your e-mail. Displaying twice as much text as previous versions of the preview pane, the Reading pane provides a new, wider area for reading your e-mail messages. You no longer need to open your messages in a separate window and then maximize the window for a fuller view of the message text. Reading your messages in this pane is now easier.

Read Messages in the Reading Pane

Display your Inbox in the Folder list.

Click an e-mail message to display its contents in the Reading pane.

TROUBLE? If the Reading pane is not in view, click the View menu, point to Reading pane, and then click Off.

Read the contents of the message in the Reading pane.

Did You Know?

You can move the Reading pane . Click the View menu, point to Reading pane, and then click the Bottom icon (or Right icon). Click Off to close the Reading pane.
