You can add any sort of image to a person's Address Book card. Not only can you use photos, but you can also use clip art, drawings, oil painting portraits, or just about any image you have in a digital format. Once you add an image to a contact's card, it will appear on that person's email messages when they send mail to you. It will also appear in your Buddy List and in iChat sessions with this person; see Chapter 17. To add an image to a card 1. | Select a card in the Address Book, and then click its Edit button. | 2. | Double-click the small picture box.
| 3. | Drag an image from your Desktop or from any Finder window and drop it in the empty space shown below. You can use almost any type of graphic image file. If you do this, skip to Step 5. Or if you have an iSight or video camera attached and turned on, you'll see a button to "Take a video snapshot." Click it, then skip to Step 5. Or click the "Choose…" button and find your graphic, as shown on the next page.
| 4. | In this dialog box, do a search if you need to: Click in the search field and type something you think is in the title of the image. When you find the image, select it and click "Open."
| 5. | In the image box, use the round, blue slider to fit the frame around the image. Press on the image to get the grabber hand and drag the image into position within the frame.
