A.5 Safari's Keyboard Shortcuts

Table A-5 lists some keyboard shortcuts you can use in Safari; however, they should work in almost any web browserincluding Internet Explorer, Camino (formerly known as Chimera), and Mozilla.

Down Arrow

Scroll down (similar to clicking on the down arrow in the scrollbar)

Up Arrow

Scroll up (similar to clicking on the up arrow in the scrollbar)

Option-Down Arrow

Scroll down one screen

Option-Up Arrow

Scroll up one screen

Option-Right Arrow

Scroll the web page to the right

Option-Left Arrow

Scroll the web page to the left

-Down Arrow

Quickly scroll to the bottom of the page

-Up Arrow

Quickly scroll to the top of the page

-Left Arrow

Go back one page (similar to clicking on the Back button)

-Right Arrow

Go forward one page (similar to clicking on the Forward button)
