Appendix D. What's on the CD-ROM

In order to provide you with as much hands-on learning experience as possible before you take your Java 2 Developer Exam, we have included various software packages on the CD-ROM. We have not provided a testing engine that replicates a sample essay exam exactly as you will find on the Sun exam because one has not been developed ”the Sun exam is a comprehensive survey of your knowledge that does not lend itself to multiple choice answers to questions. Therefore, we have included the following software to assist you in assembling a development and test environment.

The software packages you will find are:
