Left-Aligned Tab

This is the tab setting most commonly used. To set a left-aligned tab, click on the button at the far left of the horizontal ruler until you see a button that looks like the one in Figure 8-6.

Then, click where you’d like the first left-aligned tab marker to appear on your horizontal ruler. Left-aligned tab markers are best used for the types of lists previously discussed.
