Mastering Business Analysis with Crystal Reports 9 (Wordware Applications Library)
|
The first report that you create is a Customer Profile report. The purpose of this report is to display customer contact information. These types of reports typically include details such as the name of your customer's company, the name of an individual to contact, a physical address, and a telephone number. While developing this report, you'll learn about a number of Crystal Reports' features, which you'll find useful in most of your reporting design efforts.
To begin designing this report, start up your Crystal Reports program. At the Welcome to Crystal Reports dialog box, select the As a Blank Report option button. Then press the OK button. The Database Expert dialog box displays.
Tip | If no Welcome dialog box displays at initial startup, select File, New from the menu bar. A Reports Gallery dialog box displays. This dialog box contains the same options as the Welcome to Crystal Reports dialog box. |
