What's Next?
As you've seen in this chapter, subreports are a useful way to overcome mammoth problems in linking tables, as well as display report information with different sort or selection criteria than that defined in a primary report. Subreports are created using nearly the same methods for creating a traditional report and contain most of the same characteristics of a main report.
In the next chapter, we explore the functionality of exporting and distributing your reports. Chances are the reports that you create aren't just for your use but are probably also for the use of several other individuals. You'll learn about exporting your reports into different file formats, such as spreadsheets and word processing documents, for easy distribution. You'll also learn how to provide reporting functionality for users without the Crystal Reports software installed on their computers.
