Macromedia Fireworks 8: Training from the Source

When you launch Fireworks, a start page appears with options for creating a new Fireworks file or opening an existing Fireworks file. A listing of your recent files also appears, allowing you to just click the filename to open the file. This is a real time-saver since you don't have to navigate your hard drive to open an existing file.
