Type Sweet Creations Home Page in the Title text box at the top of the Document window. Every HTML document should have a title. The title, used primarily for document identification, is displayed in a browser's title bar and is used as the bookmark name. Choose a short phrase that describes the document's purpose. The title can be of any length, but you may want to crop it if it's too long to fit in the browser title bar. Tip If you don't see the Title text box at the top of the Document window, choose View > Toolbars > Document. The title that Fireworks assigns is the default image name for your file: for example, home_page.gif. That name is not very descriptive. You should make checking the title name the first step when you open your files. Note If you create a new file in Dreamweaver, the default name is Untitled Document, which is an even worse title for your page. Dreamweaver gives you several reminders if you haven't titled your page. Look at the document title bar. It contains the title and the filename. If you see "Untitled Document (filename.htm)," you haven't titled your document. You'll also see "Untitled Document" in the toolbar of the document window. |
