Fundamentals of Audio and Video Programming for Games (Pro-Developer)
To use the MCAudio tool, do the following:
-
Choose a name for the output file in the Output File edit box. (The tool selects a default name at startup.)
-
In the Input Files area, select input files for one or more audio channels. You don t have to specify a file for every channel; blank channels are simply not written into the file. For example, you can make a 5.1 file by leaving out the back center channel.
-
Use the Output File Type radio buttons to switch between .wav file output and audio .avi file output.
-
Click the Do It! button to write the file. A progress bar indicates the progress of the write operation.
