  • This chapter covers the management and configuration of Terminal Services. In addition to knowing how to properly configure Terminal Services to access your server, you need to be able to diagnose and resolve problems in your environment that are specific to Terminal Services.

  • It is important that you set up a test Terminal Services server and work through all the exercises at least once. Pay particular attention to permissions, especially those needed to log on to a Terminal Services server, and be sure you have a good understanding of the Session Directory feature. Session Directory is new in Windows Server 2003, so expect to be tested heavily on it.
