The Adobe Creative Suite applications automatically share the same Color Settings file, making it easy to view and print consistent color in files in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat. You can use the Missing Profiles and Assign Profiles dialog boxes to tag artwork with profiles in Adobe Illustrator, the same way as in Adobe Photoshop. You can embed profiles in PDF files that are saved from Adobe Illustrator.
