QuarkXPress can color manage all elements on a page, regardless of their color spaces, except for EPS files. Each element in a page layout needs an associated profile and rendering intent. QuarkXPress can simulate the output of printers and printing processes on the screen, reducing the time and cost associated with the creation of color proofs. QuarkXPress's color management system includes the Profile Usage utility, which shows all of the profiles contained within a document, and the Profile Manager, which lists all of the profiles recognized by Quark CMS.
