The goal of this exercise is to explore the 5250 application before you use the Web-Facing Tool to convert it into a browser-based user interface. You will become familiar with the 5250 screens and the behavior of the application. After conversion with the WebFacing tool, you will easily be able to compare the 5250 with the Web user interface.

At the end of the exercise, you should be able to

Invoke the application

Know what screens the application provides

Know how the application works in its 5250 environment

Know what function keys are supported and what functions they enable
