Understanding the IBM WebFacing Tool: A Guided Tour (IBM Illustrated Guide series)

You have completed the exercise Running the Web-enabled Application. Here is what you did:

• You set up the WAS test environment.

• You selected the Run on Server option for the WebFacing project, which started the WAS test environment and opened a browser in the workbench. This browser showed the default index.html page for this project.

• You selected a link on the index.html page to invoke the Web-enabled application.

• You used the Web-enabled application as you did in Chapter 2.

• You used an external browser to test the UIM help panels.

You are ready to move on. In the next chapter, you will improve the look of your Web-enabled application. I will guide you through the customization and enhancement of your application. Proceed to the exercise Changing the Web User Interface.
