Lesson Files | Lesson 16 Project | Media | A Thousand Roads > Intro and Sound Effects folder | Motocross > Racing Footage and Team Story folders | Time | This lesson takes approximately 60 minutes to complete. | Goals | Reconnect media files | Check and adjust audio and video levels | Understand file formats | Export a QuickTime movie | Export using QuickTime conversion | Output a sequence to tape | Create a timecode window burn | Media-manage a project | Back up a project | Once a sequence is complete, with titles and effects all in, it's time to finish and output it. The finishing stage is when you look at your sequence with a different eye. It's less about making editorial decisions than about ensuring that your program looks and sounds its best before you present it to others. Once this has been accomplished, you are ready to output the sequence. Outputting can include creating a tape of the sequence for screening. It can also include exporting the sequence using various file formats for a variety of delivery possibilities, including the Web or DVD. Along the way, you will want to consider archiving the project and managing the project media.
