Fast Track UML 2.0
Overview
This chapter discusses topics that don't quite fit into the preceding discussion, yet are important elements of the UML. The following topics are presented:
-
Profiles, which are stereotyped packages that contain elements customized for a particular domain or purpose
-
Templates, which provide ways to create families of model elements such as classes, packages, and collaborations
-
Information flows, which provide ways to circulate information between objects at a fairly high level of abstraction
