note The RDP cannot be installed through a Terminal Services or remote shell connection.
Network Infrastructure Requirements
The RDP is designed to perform optimally with DHCP and PXE in the network environment. If PXE is used to perform remote deployment of servers, DHCP must be installed and accessible on the network before the Altiris Deployment Solution installation to ensure correct installation of PXE services.
