Chapter 12. Note Pad In this chapter Note Pad lets you quickly capture ideas and information in your own handwriting, such as phone numbers, thoughts, lists, and sketches. Note Pad is all about convenience and speed, but it also has some smart features worth learning. Change the pencil In any note, tap the pencil icon to select one of three line widths, or use the eraser to erase part of a note you've written. In general, thin lines are better for longer notes. Use thick lines when you're writing a few quick words or drawing a simple figure. | Notes and Memos People sometimes confuse Memos and Note Pad. The two applications share many features, but in Note Pad, the information you enter is preserved in your own handwriting. In Memos, the information you enter via Graffiti® 2 writing or a keyboard creates a typed memo. |
Use the navigator Note Pad lists notes the same way Memos lists memos. Press the center navigator button to select a note. Scroll through Note Pad by pressing right or left on the navigator or tapping the arrow at the top o the screen. |
Go to To attach notes to events and contacts, see page 44. To learn about Memos, see page 97.
