Chapter 8. Managing a Migrated Environment

Before delving into topics specific to managing a migrated environment, we describe the architecture that was developed at Sun to manage open systems in the context of the E-stack. Because of the focus of this book, these architectures are described at a fairly high level.

After this context is set, we develop more detailed information about management considerations during migration to a Solaris environment.
