The credits scroll from the bottom of the screen to the top in a rolling format until all credits have displayed. The ending credits appear differently depending on whether you view the storyboard or timeline: - Click to Show Storyboard
NOTE | | The text-entry area for your credits looks different from the text-entry area for other titles. Movie Maker gives you three places to enter text. The top field is for your first closing credit, which often will say nothing more than The End . The remaining fields work in pairs, with each left field's text appearing smaller than the field on the right. You could, for example, type Director in one field on the left and then type your name in the field to the right. Your name will display in a larger size than the Director title. | Click the Show Storyboard button to display the storyboard if the timeline currently appears. Credits are often easier to review on the storyboard than on the timeline. - Select Tools, Titles and Credits
Start the credit process by selecting Titles and Credits from the Tools menu. - Click to Add Credits to End of Movie
Because you want to add the credits to the end of the movie, click Add credits at the end of the movie . Movie Maker opens the Enter Text for Title dialog box. - Type Closing Text
Type the end credit's primary text at the top of the text-entry area. This will be the first credit your audience sees. TIP | | If you want all credit text to display in the same font size, ignore either the left or the right column when entering your text. | - Type Text Pairs
Type the remaining text in pairs knowing that text you type in the left column will be smaller and appear before text you type in the right column. - Click to Change Font
Click the Change the text font and color option if you want to modify the text style or color ( see 73 Create Movie Titles ). TIP | | Drag the line that divides the storyboard from the Contents pane toward the top of your screen to increase the size of the storyboard clips if you have difficulty reading all the text on the storyboard's credit clip. | - Click to Add Credits
Place the credits at the end of your movie by clicking the option labeled Done, add title to movie . - Review Credits
The credits appear at the end of your storyboard. Click to select the credits and preview them in the Monitor pane. |
