If you use the closing date feature in QuickBooks, you'll want to take advantage of the opportunity to produce a report that shows changes to the closed accounts. This report displays all transactions that are posted to the closed time period after the closing date has passed. - Open the Report Center by clicking the toolbar button.
- Click the Accountant & Taxes option.
- Click Closing Date Exception Report.
- Scroll through the report to see all the transactions.
- Double-click any amount to see the actual transaction.
Did You Know? You can find out who made the post-closing date transaction. Note that the Last Modified By column shows which user entered the transaction during the closed period. |
